I saw this ad on today’s “20min” — 20% discount for Mango‘s newest spring collection! Tomorrow only! Oh, how happy I am now to have a daughter So, go there with your daughter or your mom, and score some new spring clothes! Yay!

There are 3 Mango stores in Lausanne: Rue de l’Ale 10, Rue de Bourg 23, and inside Bon Genie at Place St-François 10.

Grab a friend and her daughter (or her mom) to go with you in case you have no daughter and your mom is not around. I won’t tell the cashier. Promise.

Update: I just showed the ad to a colleague (whose native in French) and he told me that the “seule” in the ad actually means that we (female) can also go there alone and still enjoy the discount. But better check first with the cashier to be sure.

My second post about Vertbaudet. They are currently running a fashion design contest for kids aged 6-12. Submit your kids’ designs by 29 March. Use either the download-able pdf template provided on their site, or simply draw the designs on an A4 paper. The best 7 designs will be produced and sold at Vertbaudet for their Spring-Summer collection of 2011. Other prizes are Nintendos and vertbaudet vouchers worth CHF750. How cool is that!

We (my husband, our kiddo and I) chanced upon Portobello Market, a second hand boutique just off Rue de Bourg, last Saturday. They specialized in branded stuffs and I saw some interesting things, including some UGG boots in their shop. Their Louis Vuitton bag collection in their website is also impressive. They are always looking for second hands item to buy, so it may also be interesting for those of you who want to de-clutter their branded clothing.

For those of you who haven’t heard, there is a new online outlet in Switzerland called Fashion Friends. They sell discounted branded stuffs and there are new offers every day! For example their current offers are sunglasses from Chopard, Escada & Givenchy, and their past offers include brands such as 7 for all mankind, Fossil, Hilfiger, etc.
