Hello,
Unfortunately, I was away on a few day’s vacation when the “Workshop: Understanding the Vaud school system” took place.
For anyone that went, did you get a brochure or any useful info that you could share ?
I have a one year old little boy and he will go to school here so I would be very interested in any feedback from the workshop.
Thanks

Hi Siobhan,
First, I absolutely don’t understand why Feedburner sent this update today, when it was obviously too late (???). It’s so unusual.
Second, about the workshop, I went there and was not so happy with it. The presentation was not clear enough to really give us any valuable information. The take home point for me was that the school system is complicated and will probably change (be simplified) after the voting in 2011 and the implementation in 2015. I don’t think you miss much not going to the workshop.
Thanks for your response Meta and glad to hear I didn’t miss much !!
I guess with these kind of issues, we are always better getting it from “the horses mouth” so to speak. Perhaps it might be a good idea some time to organise an English-speaking Mum with young kid/s who has already been through this process and help us understand.
Anyway, have a good Easter and thanks again,
Siobhan
