A few days ago I purchased an illustration print from Laura Amiss’ Etsy shop, and yesterday I received them. I ordered one, but received two in different envelopes. I emailed the seller and this was what she replied:

“Hi Meta – ha ha I thought I might have done that! I had a very busy two days and two poorly children and I doubted that I had actually sent you the print so I thought better safe than sorry.

Oh, my, I can really hear her. I myself had been having an airhead the last few days, after kept so busy and tired by my kids.

Now that I ended up with 2 identical art prints, I suggested to her to give one as giveaway and she was happy with the idea. The print is really lovely, inspired by the hill houses in San Francisco, as you can see in the picture below.

This is the info about it from Laura’s Etsy shop:

This San Fransico inspired art print is an original illustration done by me that I have digitally coloured and tweaked.
I have used Epson archival inks on Epson heavy weight matte paper to produce a vibrant and enduring print.
Print info:
Paper: Matte Epson Archival 182 gram
Paper size: A4
Inks: Epson Archival
Printed image size: 9.8 x 7.1 inches / 25 x 18 cm

There is ONE print to win. It’s without frame, but should fit easily in a frame available in many stores like IKEA, Coop, or Manor. To enter the giveaway contest, you have to leave a comment, letting me know if you had been (or not) in San Francisco. I was there in 2009 for a week on a conference trip and I looooove it, which was the reason I chose this particular illustration. Comments will be accepted until Thursday, 22 Dec 2011 at 23:59. Please comment here on this post (below) and NOT on the facebook page.

Good luck!
